The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Sakae Saito’s Touring After the Apocalypse (Shūmatsu Tsūringu) manga has released its main trailer, revealing its opening and ending theme songs, key staff members, and confirming an October 2025 premiere. The new trailer offers a glimpse into the post-apocalyptic journey of protagonists Yoko and Airi as they navigate a desolate yet visually striking Japan.
Theme Songs to Define the Journey
The newly unveiled trailer features the series’ theme songs, setting the auditory tone for the two girls’ unique adventure. The opening theme, titled “Touring,” will be performed by the three-member J-pop band Conton Candy. Meanwhile, singer Myuk is set to perform the ending theme, “Glide.” Both songs are prominently featured in the recently released promotional video.

About Touring After the Apocalypse
The anime is based on Sakae Saito’s manga, Shūmatsu Tsūringu, which began serialization in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine in September 2020. As of March 2025, seven tankōbon volumes of the manga have been released. Yen Press has licensed the manga for English publication.
The story follows Yoko and Airi, two girls who travel throughout Japan after an unspecified apocalyptic event. Despite the desolation of the world, they seize the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks, transforming a desperate situation into a unique sightseeing adventure. Their journey takes them to various well-known locations, from the hot springs of Hakone to the sprawling Tokyo Big Sight.
