The series began as a light novel written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryūta Fuse. It was serialized online before being acquired by AlphaPolis, who published ten volumes between 2013 and 2018. A manga adaptation with art by Jun Miura followed, running from 2014 to 2023 and also concluding with ten volumes.
