Fusosha’s Weekly Spa! magazine has announced the upcoming launch of “Manga Spa!”, a brand-new manga website, scheduled for September 24. The announcement, made in late August, signals a significant expansion into digital manga distribution for the established Japanese weekly publication.
What to Expect from Manga Spa!
The new “Manga Spa!” platform is set to feature a diverse array of manga titles, including both new and previously serialized works. Among the highly anticipated new additions is The Dogfather by Tsunomaru, known for Midori no Makibao, which will debut on September 29.
Other new manga launching on the service include Shimoteku-ke ~Gan, Kaigo, Hattatsu-Shōgai! Ponkotsu Sansedai Shuraba Nikki by Bakka Okita and Nani mo Shinai Oshi ni Ikui hi (A Day to Do Nothing) by Mankitsu.
Featured and Returning Titles
In addition to new content, “Manga Spa!” will host several popular manga titles that have already been available on Weekly Spa!’s existing “My Spa” website. These include critically acclaimed works such as Kodoku no Gourmet (Solitary Gourmet) by Masayuki Kusumi and Jiro Taniguchi, Romance Bōfūiki by Akane Torikai, Asuka Clinic wa Kyō mo Ame (It’s Raining Again Today at Asuka Clinic) and Hajime no Isshō (Hajime’s Life) by Takeo Aoki, and Hitozuma A (Married Woman A) by Hanayo Hanatsu.
