About Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days
The Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days manga, written and illustrated by Yui Tamura, began serialization on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in June 2021. The comedy series follows Tsuyoshi Yano, a high school student plagued by constant bad luck, often resulting in him arriving at school covered in injuries. His classmate, Kiyoko Yoshida, a diligent class representative, begins to worry about him and observes his daily struggles, eventually resolving to support him. The romantic comedy blossoms as the two grow closer amidst Yano’s everyday mishaps.
The manga has also inspired a live-action film adaptation directed by Takehiko Shinjo, which premiered in Japan in November 2024. As of March 2025, the manga has released ten compiled volumes.
