TOKYO – Doronjo-sama wa Tenseishitemo Akuyaku Reijō no Mama datta (Doronjo Remained a Villainess Even After Reincarnation), the popular manga centered on the iconic Yatterman villainess Doronjo, officially concluded its serialization on Mag Garden’s web manga site MAGKAN on Friday. Artist Shin Kaduki marked the occasion with a celebratory illustration following the publication of the final chapter.
The series, which began in January 2024, brought the classic antagonist into the burgeoning “isekai” genre, seeing Doronjo and her gang transported to a new world after their defeat by Yatterman. True to their nature, the formidable trio set out to establish their dominance in this unfamiliar realm.

The manga followed Doronjo, along with her loyal henchmen Boyacky and Tonzura, as they navigate a fantasy world, retaining their villainous ambitions despite their new surroundings. Mag Garden had shipped the second compiled book volume of the series on January 15, 2025. Doronjo’s Enduring Legacy Beyond the Isekai
Doronjo is a central figure from Tatsunoko Production’s classic Yatterman anime series, which first premiered in 1977. As part of the Time Bokan franchise, Yatterman quickly became a cultural phenomenon in Japan, with Doronjo, the charismatic leader of the Doronbo Gang, becoming one of animation’s most memorable antagonists.
Her enduring popularity has led to numerous reinterpretations and celebrations across different media. In 2015, the Yatterman Night anime series, centered on a descendant of Doronjo, commemorated the franchise’s 40th anniversary. More recently, 2022 saw the release of the live-action television show Tatsunoko Pro Sōritsu 60-shūnen Kinen WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo (Tatsunoko Production 60th Anniversary WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo), a project that delved into the villain’s origins and celebrated Tatsunoko Production’s 60th anniversary. Additionally, a light novel titled Isekai Doronjo no Yabou (The Ambition of Doronjo in Another World) was released in May 2023, further showcasing Doronjo’s versatility as a character.
