Yen Press has expanded its catalog with the licensing of three new manga series and an art book for the popular light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. These announcements were made during Anime Expo 2025, with the titles slated for release in December 2025.
The newly licensed manga titles include:
- Even a Replica Can Fall in Love: This manga adaptation, illustrated by Momose Hanada, is based on Harunadon’s light novel series, which Yen Press previously licensed. The story centers on Sunao and her replica, a double that takes her place for various reasons, exploring what happens when this replica experiences love.
- Demon Lord 2099: An omnibus manga adaptation of Yutaka Sakurai’s light novel series, with art by Daigo Murasaki. This 3-in-1 volume follows Demon Lord Veltol’s return and quest for conquest in a futuristic, cyberpunk world where magic and technology intertwine. Yen Press also publishes the original light novels.
- Divine Incursions: This manga, with art by Kōya Ashitaka and original story by Oumi Kifuru, delves into mysteries where massive, otherworldly body parts fall from the sky and corpses are found without their innards. The Divine Incursions Special Investigations Department, led by Katagishi, investigates these phenomena. The light novel series was also recently licensed by Yen Press in April.
Additionally, Yen Press has licensed Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian: Momoco’s Art Book. This full-color collection showcases illustrations from volumes 1–8 of the original light novels, along with promotional artwork, chibi illustrations, and an exclusive short story by the original author, Sunsunsun. Yen Press already publishes the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian light novel series, which has also inspired an anime adaptation.
These titles are part of Yen Press’s ongoing expansion, with further announcements expected from their Anime Expo industry panel. In February 2025, Yen Press had also announced twenty-one new titles for July 2025, including various manga and novels.
