The new trailer offers a vibrant glimpse into the series’ charming world, highlighting its bubbly energy and vivid animation. Crunchyroll is set to stream the series as it airs.

The third promotional video further builds anticipation, showcasing the series’ sparkling animation and the dynamic between its two lead characters. It provides an extended look at the romantic comedy’s aesthetic, hinting at the lighthearted yet heartfelt interactions between Miyu Suzuki and Yusuke Tani. The trailer also features a preview of the ending theme song, “Pure” (ピュア, Pyua), performed by Pas Tasta featuring Eriko Hashimoto.
The Opposites Attract Premise
You and I Are Polar Opposites centers on the relationship between Miyu Suzuki and Yusuke Tani, two high school students with vastly different personalities. Suzuki is an energetic, outgoing girl who often follows the crowd, sometimes against her own feelings. In contrast, Tani is a quiet, introverted boy who isn’t afraid to speak his mind bluntly. Despite their seemingly clashing natures, Suzuki finds herself drawn to Tani’s authenticity and sincerity, admiring his refusal to conform. Unbeknownst to Suzuki, Tani also harbors feelings for her. Kōcha Agasawa’s You and I Are Polar Opposites manga originally started as a one-shot in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ service in January 2021. It was then serialized on the same platform from May 2022 to November 2024, concluding with eight tankōbon volumes. The manga has garnered significant recognition, including ranking second in the Web Manga category of the Next Manga Awards in 2022 and placing in the top ranks of the Manga Taishō awards in both 2023 and 2024. Viz Media and Manga Plus both publish the series in English.
