The highly anticipated sci-fi crime suspense anime series “Your Forma” is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The series premiered in Japan on April 2, 2025.
Originally, distribution announcements indicated that “Your Forma” would stream on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. and Canada, with episodes beginning in April 2025. However, recent updates confirm its availability on Amazon Prime Video as of July 11, 2025. The anime is offered with both Japanese audio and English dubs, along with English and Latin American Spanish subtitles.
About “Your Forma”
“Your Forma” is an adaptation of the science-fiction crime suspense light novel series written by Mareho Kikuishi and illustrated by Tsubata Nozaki. The story is set in a world where a 1992 viral encephalitis pandemic led to the development of “Your Forma,” an invasive information device implanted into the brain. This technology records every sight, sound, and emotion.
The narrative follows “Electronic Investigators,” special detectives who delve into this collective data to solve major crimes. Echika Hieda, a prodigiously talented but isolated Electronic Investigator, is partnered with Harold, a blonde, blue-eyed humanoid “Amicus.” Together, this duo works to uncover hidden secrets within the recorded memories.
The anime series is directed by Takaharu Ozaki, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling the series composition and scriptwriting, Chikashi Kadekaru as the character designer, and Tatsuya Kato composing the music. Geno Studio is responsible for the animation production. The original light novel series began publication in March 2021, and a manga adaptation was also serialized from June 2021 to September 2023.
