The highly anticipated anime series “Your Forma” is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The series, which is based on Mareho Kikuishi and Tsubata Nozaki’s science-fiction crime suspense light novel series, began streaming on Amazon’s platform on July 11, 2025.
“Your Forma” originally premiered in Japan on April 2, 2025, on TV Asahi’s “IM Animation W” programming block. While it was initially available for streaming in the U.S. and Canada exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, its recent addition to Amazon Prime Video provides wider accessibility for viewers.
The anime offers both Japanese and English dubs, along with English and Latin American Spanish subtitles, catering to a diverse audience.
The Premise of “Your Forma”
Set in a world dramatically altered by a viral encephalitis pandemic in 1992, “Your Forma” delves into a future where medical technology has evolved into an invasive, brain-implanted information device known as “Your Forma.” This device records every sensory experience, including sights, sounds, and even emotions.
The story follows “Electronic Investigators,” special detectives tasked with solving major crimes by delving into this collective recorded data. At the heart of the narrative is Echika Hieda, a prodigious young Electronic Investigator whose exceptional talent often isolates her. She is partnered with Harold W. Lucraft, a blonde, blue-eyed humanoid “Amicus.” Together, this unique duo works to uncover hidden secrets within this technologically advanced, data-rich society.
The anime features a talented voice cast, including Kana Hanazawa as Echika Hieda and Kenshō Ono as Harold W. Lucraft. The series is produced by Geno Studio, with Takaharu Ozaki directing and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling series composition and screenplays.
