A new character video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kyosuke Nishiki’s Li’l Miss Vampire Can’t Suck Right has revealed two additional voice cast members, expanding the ensemble for the highly anticipated romantic-comedy series. The anime is slated to premiere in October 2025.
New Voices Join the Cast
The recently released character trailer introduces Katsumi Fukuhara as Daichi Chiba and Yuya Hirose as Satoru Deguchi. Fukuhara is known for his role as Touya Mochizuki in In Another World with My Smartphone, while Hirose has voiced Holm in Delicious in Dungeon. Their roles will bring new life to the supporting characters of the series.
Expanding the World of Clumsy Vampires
These new additions join a previously announced main cast that features Minami Tanaka as the titular protagonist Luna Ishikawa, a vampire who struggles with bloodsucking. Kensho Ono will voice Tatsuta Ōtori, the classmate who discovers Luna’s secret and attempts to help her hone her vampiric skills. Other confirmed cast members include M.A.O as Eiko Sakuma and Ikumi Hasegawa as Misa Kusunoki.
Production Details and October Premiere
The Li’l Miss Vampire Can’t Suck Right anime is being produced by Studio feel., known for works such as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. Sayaka Yamai (known for Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout) is directing the series. Yuniko Ayana (The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies) is handling the series composition, with Takuya Tani (Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles) designing the characters. Tomoki Kikuya is composing the music, produced by Lantis. H△G will perform the opening theme song “Seishun no Silhouette” (Youthful Silhouette), while H△G and Minami Tanaka will perform the ending theme “Senkō Hanabi” (Sparklers).
The series is based on Kyosuke Nishiki’s manga, which was serialized in Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine from May 2021 to August 2025. Yen Press publishes the official English version of the manga, describing the story of Luna Ishikawa, a mysterious-seeming vampire who is, in reality, short, clumsy, and unable to suck blood properly. Her struggles lead to an unexpected partnership with Tatsuta Ootori, who attempts to help her overcome her “drinking problem” and become a more formidable creature of the night. The anime is set to air on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, BS Asahi, AT-X, U-NEXT, and other streaming services.
