The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Misaki’s light novel series, A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation (Odayaka Kizoku no Kyūka no Susume), has revealed additional cast members and staff, alongside a new visual. The fantasy adventure series is set to debut in January 2026, airing on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo.
New Voices Join the “Gentle Noble” Journey
Three prominent voice actors have been added to the cast, taking on key roles in the otherworldly adventure. Tetsuya Kakihara will voice Eleven, Jun Fukuyama is cast as Studd, and Daiki Yamashita will portray Judge. These new additions bolster an already announced cast that includes Sōma Saitō as the protagonist, Lizel, and Yūichirō Umehara as his guide and protector, Gil.

Previously Announced Details and Anime Overview
The anime is directed by Kenta Noda (known for episode direction on Duel Masters and Ascendance of a Bookworm) at studio Synergy SP, in collaboration with Ascension. Yōsuke Suzuki (of Pazudora) is handling the series scripts, and Akito Fujiwara is designing the characters. The musical score for the series is being composed by Kōsuke Yamashita.
The series is based on Misaki’s light novel series, which began online serialization in January 2014 on Shōsetsuka ni Narō before being acquired by TO Books. The light novels feature illustrations by Sando and have inspired a manga adaptation by Momochi with composition by Lamp Magonote (formerly 8Key). TOKYOPOP is releasing the manga adaptation in English. By October 2024, the overall series had over 1.5 million copies in circulation.
The story of A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation follows Lizel, a laid-back noble who mysteriously finds himself in a city that resembles his own but is clearly in a different world. Rather than panicking, Lizel embraces the situation, viewing it as an unexpected vacation. He hires Gil, a seasoned adventurer, as his guide and protector, eager to explore this new world and experience life as part of an adventurer’s guild while he seeks a way back home.
