The Story So Far: Mukoda’s Delicious Journey
The anime adapts the light novel series by Ren Eguchi and Masa, which began publication on the “Shosetsuka ni Narō” website in 2016. The story follows Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary salaryman mistakenly summoned to a world of swords and sorcery. Gifted with the “Online Supermarket” skill, which allows him to purchase modern goods, Mukoda decides to forge his own path, using his cooking prowess and unique ingredients to attract powerful mythical beasts like Fel and Sui as companions.
The first season of the anime premiered in January 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming it as it aired in Japan. J-Novel Club publishes both the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English. The new “Super Yummy Time Highlights” video and the confirmed October premiere promise another delightful season filled with culinary adventures and heartwarming interactions.
