The movie is animated by studio 8-Bit and features an original story supervised by Fuse, the creator of the light novel series.
The film is set to premiere in Japan on February 27, 2026, with international theatrical dates to be announced by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The story will follow Rimuru and his companions as they visit a private resort island, only to encounter a mysterious woman named Yura and the brewing shadows of a new crisis.
