Written and illustrated by Yakinikuteishoku, “Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?” centers on Akane Tsuda, a 28-year-old office worker who appears professional and organized to her colleagues. However, in her private life, Akane is messy and has never had a boyfriend. In a moment of loneliness and drunkenness, she purchases an android for companionship, named Nadeko. The manga explores the developing relationship between Akane and Nadeko, blending romantic comedy with science fiction and yuri themes.
Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the series for an English-language release in North America, with the sixth tankōbon volume scheduled for release on December 30, 2025.

A short-form anime television series adaptation produced by Nyan Pollution-ω- is slated to premiere in January 2026.
