The popular anime series Dr. Stone: Science Future has announced that Yuki Sakakihara will join the cast for its second part, voicing the character Joel. Sakakihara is set to appear in the 16th episode of the season, portraying a talented young watchmaker.

The second part of Dr. Stone: Science Future, which is the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone anime, premiered on July 10, 2025. The series continues the thrilling scientific adventure of Senku and the Kingdom of Science as they embark on a voyage to South America after escaping from Stanley. This highly anticipated cour is expected to have a total of 12 episodes.
New Additions to the Cast
Yuki Sakakihara is not the only new voice actor to join the ranks of Dr. Stone: Science Future. Previously announced cast members for the final season include Kenji Nojima as Dr. Xeno, Kōji Yusa as Stanley Snyder, Mariko Higashiuchi as Maya, Akira Sekine as Luna, Chiharu Sawashiro as Carlos, Taishi Murata as Max, Hiroki Yasumoto as Brody, and Minami Hinata as Charlotte.

The anime season’s second cour features “SUPERNOVA” by KANA-BOON as its new opening theme song and “no man’s world” by -otoha- as its new ending theme song. Shuhei Matsushita is directing season four, with Kurasumi Sunayama as series screenwriter and Yuko Iwasa returning as character designer. TMS Entertainment is in charge of the animation production.
