The highly anticipated television anime adaptation of Takeshi Okano and Shō Makura’s Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga has announced that Hiroko Kiso will join its cast. Kiso is set to voice the urban legend monster Teke Teke, who will make her appearance in the anime’s sixth episode on August 6.
Teke Teke to Haunt Sixth Episode

Teke Teke, a well-known figure in Japanese urban legends, is often depicted as the ghost of a young woman who was cut in half and travels on her hands or elbows, making a “teke teke” sound. Her appearance in the upcoming sixth episode is expected to bring a chilling encounter for the characters. The anime itself premiered on July 2 with a special one-hour broadcast of its first two episodes on TV Asahi’s new “IM Animation W” block. Subsequent episodes air at 11:45 p.m. JST.
