About Manga Mirai’s Platform and Offerings
Launched earlier this year, Manga Mirai aims to provide a comprehensive digital platform where anime and manga enthusiasts can explore manga series that inspire their favorite anime, and discover new stories, including original manga and English editions of previously untranslated titles. The service allows users to purchase manga titles either by single volume or by chapter, and these purchased titles can be read directly on the service’s website or through a dedicated reader app available for iOS and Android devices.
The platform is a collaborative effort, with NTT Docomo serving as the service provider, MyAnimeList supporting marketing efforts, Akatsuki Group handling system development and operations, and Media Do collaborating with publishers and translation companies to acquire new series. This collaborative model underscores Manga Mirai’s commitment to building a robust and accessible digital manga library.
Continued Growth and Diverse Partnerships
The acquisition of licenses from TO Books is part of Manga Mirai’s ongoing strategy to rapidly expand its digital content library through partnerships with various publishers. The platform has previously announced content from J-Novel Club, including popular series like Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill and A Wild Last Boss Appeared!
Earlier this year, Manga Mirai also significantly boosted its offerings by adding approximately 4,000 English-translated manga volumes from VIZ Media, featuring classics such as One Piece and Naruto, alongside newer hits like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen. Furthermore, the platform integrated titles from Yen Press, including critically acclaimed series like Solo Leveling and I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level.
With these continuous expansions, Manga Mirai is steadily building a diverse catalog, solidifying its position as a key destination for English-speaking manga readers seeking official and accessible digital content.
