Kroi formed in 2018 and made their major debut from Pony Canyon’s IRORI Records label in June 2021. “Method” marks their third anime theme song, following “Hyper” (UNDER NINJA opening song) in 2023 and “Sesami” (BUCCHIGIRI?! opening song) in 2024.

Ending Theme

The ending theme song is “Dandelion” by go!go!vanillas. A snippet of the song is featured in the new trailer.

The Story So Far

Sakamoto Days follows Taro Sakamoto, a retired legendary hitman who has settled into a quiet life as a family man, running a neighborhood store with his wife and child. However, his peaceful existence is disrupted when his past catches up to him, and he must protect his loved ones from former enemies and other assassins. He is joined by his former ally, Shin Asakura, and Lu Shaotang.

The anime is directed by Masaki Watanabe at studio TMS Entertainment, with series composition by Taku Kishimoto, character designs by Yo Moriyama, and music by Yuki Hayashi.

Manga

Sakamoto Days is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since November 2020.
