The “Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26” anthology involves a collaborative effort from seven acclaimed directors, including Tetsuaki Watanabe, Nobuyuki Takeuchi, and Kazuaki Terasawa, alongside six prominent animation studios: ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS. The full eight-episode series will be available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video worldwide in over 240 countries and territories starting November 7, 2025. Prior to its global streaming debut, the anthology had a special limited theatrical run in nine Japanese cinemas, beginning October 17, screening in two four-episode parts. Two of the shorts, “A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin’ in the Schoolyard” and “Shikaku,” also received nominations in the Short Film category at the Bucheon International Animation Festival in South Korea.
