Korean boyband TWS is set to contribute an insert song titled “N.O.S.A” to director Sunghoo Park’s highly anticipated original anime series, Bullet/Bullet. The announcement was accompanied by a new promotional video featuring the song.
The Anime: Bullet/Bullet
Bullet/Bullet is an original anime series helmed by Sunghoo Park, known for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Ninja Kamui. The series is produced at his studio, E&H Production. The anime is described as an action series set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has collapsed. The narrative follows a young gearhead, a multi-personality robot, and a gambling polar bear who run a business recovering unfairly stolen items. Their lives take a dramatic turn when a request from a mysterious girl, pursued by assassins, embroils them in a potentially world-altering chase.
The anime is scheduled for an exclusive streaming release on Disney+’s “Star” brand. The first eight episodes of Bullet/Bullet will debut on July 16, 2025, with the subsequent four episodes (nine through twelve) becoming available on August 13, 2025. In addition to the streaming release, a two-part theatrical screening of the series is planned for Japan. The first part, “Dangan Shissō-hen” (Bullet Run arc), is slated for July 25, 2025, followed by the second part, “Dangan Kessen-hen” (Bullet Final Battle arc), on August 15, 2025.
TWS’s Contribution
The Korean boyband TWS, consisting of members Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Hanjin, Ji Hoon, and Kyung Min, has been gaining recognition, with their mini-album TRY WITH US receiving positive responses in Japan. Their participation in Bullet/Bullet with “N.O.S.A” marks a notable collaboration for the group within the anime industry. This is distinct from their other anime contribution, the opening theme song “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)” for the TV animation Giving a Bouque to an Ugly Person (also known as A Bouquet for Ugly People or April Showers Bring May Flowers). TWS is also preparing for their Japanese debut with the single ‘Nice to See You Again’ and a Japanese tour in July.
