The Story of Scarlet El Vandimion
“May I Ask for One Final Thing?” is based on Nana Ōtori’s light novel series with illustrations by Satsuki, and its manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki. The story follows Scarlet El Vandimion, a noblewoman whose engagement to Second Prince Kyle von Paristan is publicly annulled at a ball. Falsely accused of being a “villainess” and enduring years of abuse, Scarlet finally reaches her breaking point. Instead of quietly accepting her fate, she delivers a powerful punch to her accusers, initiating a thrilling tale of revenge against Kyle and high society.
The anime is produced by Liden Films Kyoto Studio, with Kazuya Sakamoto directing, Deko Akao handling series composition, Eriko Haga designing the characters, and Hinako Tsubakiyama composing the music. The opening theme song is “Senjō no Hana” (Flower of the Battlefield) by CHICO with HoneyWorks, and the ending theme song is “Inferior” performed by Shiyui.
An advanced screening of the anime is scheduled for September 28 at United Cinemas Toyosu, with some cast members in attendance.
